Can we have a flag for not meeting that we can search on.
It would be great to exclude those who are not going to meet when searching.
It would help those looking for a meet as well as stop those who are not looking to meet from getting pestered |

"And then people can set fake no show flags for people they don't like?
Also not all no shows are fake "
I think he is asking for a flag for people themselves to put up if they are not meeting at the moment rather than flagging up someone as a no show |

You can add your own flag in the form of a note if you're a paid member. I put 'time waster' or even a specific date if they no showed. Notes are paid only features though.
You can report the person to the admins though.
On their profile to to 'report user', then tick the box for 'arranged meet and didn't show' and put as much information in the text box as possible.
Over the past two years I've seen two people deleted that I've reported this way so I know from personal experience that admins do act on 'no show' reports. |

"For those not looking to meet to be omitted from searches, surely those people would just hide their profile if they were taking a break? "
Some members are here for the forums, so don't wish to hide their profiles.
Also, hiding you profile restricts some access to the site. |

It doesn't restrict you using the site |

Badly worded, it was early, I was tired.
I'll rephrase, hiding your profile means you can't use things like the "See who's near" function. |

What would be on the flag.? Skull and crossbones, Union Jack since some say the UK is closed for business A closed (for business) sign would work.
Good idea though.
Would like to see the green arrow on profiles too, just to help with research |
