Why is posting about personal messages against site rules?
As long as you're not naming and shaming (obviously)

I guess it’s because there needs to be a simple rule to cover all situations. It’s quite easy to identify yourself from the contents of a message being discussed. If the fm talking about a message is complimentary then I doubt it would be a problem, but if they were being derogatory then the person they were talking about would likely be offended reading about a private conversation on an open forum. |
