Itd be nice to be able to toggle this status view on and off in privacy settings, sometimes people get a bit stalker-y

I definitely would like to be able to hide when I'm online and when I was last online I don't think I get logged out when I'm not online and friends occasionally message expecting a quick reply thinking I am online when I'm not, and think I'm ignoring the message.

I get messages from asking why I'm still awake at such and such a time, when I've actually been of line for a couple of hours.

Yes I would like this as well, some people like to pounce as soon as they see you are online.
