There are users that show fake verifications, usually men pretending to be women.
Such people damage this site and the community. We all face situations where we have to deal with idiots.
I believe a stronger verification method has to be approved - I believe that the picture with the piece of paper with the nickname written on it is not sufficient.
Why don't you impose a verification via webcam? |

What, as in admin has to talk to people? That'd be a monumental task. |

"Honestly I'd say to post a verification they make it so you have to both take a picture together with your usernames on it holding the paper."
Do they not do this anymore?
Also I don't have a webcam. It's bad enough checking no pictures of my little ones end up in the background (I have them on the walls) on everyday social media sites.
Only arrange to meet people with a few 'met in person' veris if you feel the veri system is vulnerable |

I have been asked to verify 'ladies' and 'couples' with the promise of a meet if I did !
Reported and blocked every time.
I agree fake verifications ruin this site for the real people, but as long as some people give them for whatever reason it will be hard to stop it happening. |

Jesus its easy you just live cam with someone before arranging to meet then if you are not attracted or seem to be false you don't meet. Far better than people trying to tell others what they should or shouldn't do and make them jump through hoops. |

That is a great idea. I think that would work. |

Strangely enough that's exactly what a photo verification is, which is already part of the site. |

It is, but they mean doing it as a way of ensuring that people have actually met when verifying each other. |

Not sure that’s going to work in a club/social situation, I can’t imagine a time where people are walking around with name plaques.... as well as the no Phone/pics rule. |

"Block them. It just shows that they once had a veri. But why do you want to take it away?
Because once I’d verified them they stopped chatting "
If you block the other person then the verification does not show on their profile. |
