"Anyone else finding that the site is very slow tonight and constant crash outs? "
Yes, could be to do with the video changes on the website. Maybe something needs tweaking |

"Glad it's not just me. Don't think it's down to new features as fabguys is slow too and they haven't launched video. But all other sites I've tested running OK "
Actually they are both on the same server I guess so it could be down to the videos |

This site seems to have slowed up over the last 24/48 hours.
Just to check, I swapped from 4G/WiFi (on iPhone XS) and both give same slow response.
Bit more hit and miss today. But still lags at times and frustratingly slow.
Any admin care to comment or give an update?

The issues past 10 minutes were due to a new roll out of code to fix some performance problems
It wasn't fit for purpose so we've rolled back
We are continuing to monitor

Having the same problem here for the last 24 hours, I noticed there's 36500 people online which is a lot more than when I last noticed. I'm thinking a combination of that and these new video functions doing it.
Me no likey. |

Going slow at time as last night. Coincidence? Most people’s kids likely to be in bed, more people making and uploading videos? Site updates making it laggy at peak times? |

Haven't been on much over the weekend, but today has been dire.
Can get on my homepage, but keep getting server unavailable when trying to click on other stuff
Taken 4 attempts just to post this comment |

Just new software installed so there's bound to be teething problems? I remember when they first installed the "Who's near" on mobiles and unpredictably it didn't work whatsoever on blackberries ha!
Not a foreseen problem until it got rolled out which often happens with new improvements on various sites.
(Am I showing not my age but my longevity on Fab there? )

Maybe they attained their increase in new people joining for the short vid clips.
According to admin it's nothing to do with the vids as that is on a different system. That said the systems need to cross communicate.
Teething issues will happen. |
