I sent a friend a message tonight and used a swear word c**t and now he’s gone from my hotlist and he can’t find me as I can’t him. Why had this happened when people swear on here all the time
Any help appreciated |

Can't really help unless one of you as mistakenly blocked each other but I can't imagine the swear word will be the reason. If it was there would be nobody left on Fab |

If it was in a personal message it could have been seen as one of you being abusive to the other and triggered automatic block between the two of you. You'll have to contact admin to remove it. |

Thank goodness my WhatsApp doesn't have such a block.
It seems slightly strange that a word often used in sexual situations would trigger an automatic block... Not had a single abusive message use that word, they use many many others. |

I have used the word cunt in a message many many times and never been auto blocked from someone. I think the admin block only happens if one person reports the other for being abusive/fake etc. |

Absolutely it's a word that must be used many times, I know I've used it in messages and not been "auto-blocked", in fact is this even a thing? |

We use some machine learning that score a first, unsolicited message for abusiveness, if over then we block. This greatly reduces idiots sending people abuse.
Possibly triggered this.
