Vanishing messages

I dont send or receive many messages, but I`ve noticed a number of them, in both my in & out boxes, vanishing.. Not in any kind of order either, it's not the oldest ones going first..

What's that about?

Some examples are odd messages going from the same person, i.e. 5 messages sent, 2 or 3 vanishing, & not in order.

Messages and profiles vanish when someone deleted their profile.

They don't, I still have messages from people who have deleted their profiles, but as I said, there can be numerous messages to or from someone, but only a few of them vanish.

Happens to us too and all profiles all still active, some are friends and most (can't say all) are neither hidden or blocked?

Me too! I can only see messages the length of my screen (ie about 8). Totally lost the ability to scroll back further grrrrrrrrrr
