Message filters tied to meets

Is it possible to have a warning come up if you post a new meet, but your message filters would stop someone from contacting you about that meet?

Seen quite a few meets that have said they want to meet males but then message filters stop me from contacting them!

Ta.

I wonder how common this is - could there be a message filter option on the meet - eh "disable message filters for this post"?

Or people could just check their filters when posting a meet.

I don’t understand why we’d want that. If I posted a meeting then I’d want to meet people that met my filters. That’s why I have filters.

I suggest it as people are choosing profile types for a meet but have filters on that block those people from contacting them. For example a couple might post a meet looking for a guy, but they've set up a filter blocking single men from mailing them and not realise.

Even just a warning to let people know would be useful?

If I post a meet it is for men I’ve met before or been actively messaging.

It makes sense to block random contacting me for a meet. I’m in Newcastle and if I put up a meet for a M I get hundreds of messages from people all over the country

Sometimes what doesn’t appear obvious, does make sense

Not quite the same but there’s a couple who view my profile everyday and say they are looking for men, I meet all their criteria but when I try to contact them it says they have blocked people of my sex ????

They may wish to contact males themselves. I've done it occasionally. Kept filters on because I prefer to message men rather than be bombarded by armchair wankers.
