It is blocked by the sound of it. Fabswingers is more well known than fabguys or the block is triggered by the word swingers.

train WiFi doesn't normally let you connect to adult sites was it on sw trains but old style livery that train probably still has the old WiFi connection that allowed adult sites

I rarely use public WiFi without VPN. I've actually got a RaspberryPi running at home with OpenVPN, meaning it's free and completely safe.

Essentially it allows you to connect to your home broadband from anywhere.

It is clearly blocked - simple.

Just a thought, don’t go on any of these sites in public places, unless you choose not to display any of the images.

Remember that there are kids about, let alone others that would find the content of this site “unsuitable” at best.

I always go on here in public places using a vpn. If kids were around I'd be more discrete. As for disapproving adults...that's their problem..not mine.

I thought it was just me, I would have preferred it was an actual app then it’d be bit easier, I know people discreet etc

Use a vpn on public wi-if full stop. Otherwise yo are potentially exposing the login details of any service you’re using

Also from personal experience, when you think you’re discreetly checking fab on the train, just make sure it’s not reflected in the window

Just sign up to one of the many services (I use Nord) download their app and it’s pretty straightforward from there. On an iPhone it will normally automatically add all the vpn details to your settings.

Central

There are a variety of suppliers that provide lists of adult sites, which also require updates, otherwise they can quickly get outdated. Local wifi providers will use whichever style of control that they deem appropriate and service will depend upon their block list provider choices. Your own software will also determine how you can access someone's network, varying by web browser, vpn etc, influencing what the network discovers about your internet use.
