Not really.. not if they bothered to make the Fab Forum like most other special interest Forums. Aska few long term community users to mod on a voluntary basis.. out of love for the site.

I'm sure there are already mods who help the site in their spare time, I think fab would need more than a few of them bearing in mind the amount of categories, then on every thread within those categories. It would be a never ending job for them. Fab would need full time paid staff to keep up with just this area. I agree, it's a nice idea, but would be physically impossible as every image would have to be moderated, I'm assuming the same way that our gallery pics are. Then you would have people complaining that it's taking too long for approval etc as well. |

There arent as many Mods as you think.. Any successful forum has more than enough people whod volunteer for a little authority. Examples all over the internet.
Photo mods for our profiles is a different thing entirely and I get what you're saying.
I hate saying this.. as Fab is THE ONLY free swinging site I know of that doesn't try to screw you over financially. It gives men like me the option to go totally freebie (I've paid in the past).
IF they made silver site supporter mandatory for everyone. Itd easily cover the cost for extra staff and improvements without the drop in numbers.. not at that low cost.
Again.. I could be talking out my ring.. as I've never run a business in my life. |

Is there a way of finding out about more about what's required and the way in which your be expected to do the job.. before volunteering to Admin? Dont want to waste anyones time, mine included.
Not that I'd expect Admin, or Mods to accept me.. unless experience of being on the wrong side of the law counts for something  |
