It would be better if there were more options for selecting fetishes or different things you like and don't like.
The inbox messaging system is also dodgy because if you send 2 inboxes to the same person it shows up as 2 individual messages.
I've got loads of ideas for changes to make this better. |

"It's a free site, so can't blame them for not investing in expensive developments. "
There are both free and subscription levels. While dated in design and functionality the site does function, however incremental modernisation is not expensive (speaking as a developer). There is also a plethora of simple feature requests people are repeatedly asking for. If implemented as part of the subscription level (just like the improved mailboxes and the tagged pics) it would definitely entice more people to subscribe further offsetting any development costs. |

Re your second point, I’d suggest things are correct as they are.
If you send two emails or texts they’d also show up as two items.
Consider how some of us use this. As a couple, I’ll sometimes read a message and mark as unread until Sue sees it. I want to know if a second message from the same user comes in, so seeing it as two messages is useful. |

It's a little restrictive and does especially need more fine grained ability to search for others based on aspects of their profile data.
I think op, it is probably worth submitting each separate idea that you have for improvements as a distinct thread.
Fab is a great site, it's just a little restricted and hasn't managed to develop it in quite a few ways that users have asked for. Obviously owners have their plans for the site, as well as their budget for development - implementing one idea would likely displace others. Perhaps a good thing would be for them to share their planned roll-out order of new features, so that users could give their feedback, showing what users' priorities would be. |

This website has needing updating for years, its pretty basic and its really not hard for them to change some things and not expensive either. Honestly with the money they'll be taking in from the thousands of paying users you would think that they may be a little bit into the actual site. It's like a site from the early 2000s |

No I agree, the site could do with some small improvements. Updating the site doesn't mean it has to be more complicated, infact a good web designer would be aiming to give better function that's easier to use. Not so bothered about the message thing the OP mentioned but making the search function match up better with the profile data you enter would probably be a good start for me.i find the filters a bit hit and miss. I find that the site does what it says on the tin very straight forward site. Just slight improvements really. |

They updated the UI on the other site (Fabguys) a good few weeks ago. It didn’t last even 24 hours, and then it was all changed back to the old (current) version.
Maybe they were testing it out. Maybe it’s now in the bin. No one knows |

To be honest, there's loads of updates needed to improve the site and the suggestions don't seem to come to anything. People are leaving the site in droves as it doesn't function the way they want it to |

There are always improvements that could be made, but I'm content with how the site works.
The issue isn't so much how the site can be used to find what I want, it is me not being what others want.
Improved searches and more complex definitions of gender and sexuality will no doubt be welcomed, but a completely revamped gui, swipe rights etc cannot alter the most important element of the site, the people on here. |

Fab done a survey last year, I think they asked questions and asked what would you change etc, Apart from the message upgrade I haven't seen anything else they have improved,
Improved search options was what most people put going by a thread not long after the survey |
