Any chance to stop that happening please? "
No, they can't see your status updates once you've blocked them. They can only see your profile pic, profile title and forum posts.

You're right, the basic search still shows it. I wouldn't expect your profile to come up in search if you're blocked at all let alone to see your status update. That's not right.
