We're thinking of removing the option of giving a verification after speaking on phone. This is because it's the easiest form of verification to fake, and we've seen quite a few low quality verifications (e.g. of males pretending to be females) who have talked on phone.
Feedback in this thread.

Excellent idea. We have mentioned that in the forums a while ago. Or a single fem leave a pre set message on a answer phone type machine.... That would be a little bit of hassle for admin

Totally agree!! We have spoken about this for a long time and feel that the only way to give a true verification should be when a meeting has taken place. Hopefully this will be a big step forward in getting rid of those who have abused the current phone verification process.

Just for new ones. Don't forget if you want to search for people with "meets" verifications you can do so from the advanced search page.

I personally only ever verify from meets and would much prefer this was the only option on the site.
If not then perhaps an icon attached to the verified to show how it was obtained even if they are hidden would help.
Is that possible admin? |

Totaly agree id also say no cam verification because all you comfirming is that the person is either fem or male nothing more .
Only way to give a clear verivication of what someone is like should be by face to face meets. |

no, cos all veris are is a yes,this person is who they say they are.They are not a score or review .
Many newbie couples will be ready to cam together long before they are ready to meet. Verifying they are a couple helps them. |

I totally agree here, we only ever Verify someone genuine from actual meets, we would not cam nor phone verify anyone! |

I disagree about removing the phone veri option.
I'm also surprised that people say to keep the cam veri option too.
Cam shows are much easier to fake than phone calls.
On another related matter.... only 15 hours of feedback before acting upon something as important as this admin? And most of the time the option was up to be discussed was at night?
Sounds like the matter had already been decided, and the option for "feedback" was a mere technicality that had to be offered lol! |

well if they are only on to c2 then no need for a verification in the first place ...lost track of profiles on here who are claiming to be looking for meets yet on here over a year with a million cam verificaions and no meet ones so no point really. |

I think they should keep the various types of varifications but with different icons so you know if they are from cam, telephone or meets (especially when they are hidden)

Good idea, just show a pic of a phone with the number or verifs by it, same with a cam, and for F2F meets too. |

We do not agree to this....swinging is not only about meeting in person...there are numerous couples, especially from Asian backgrounds, who wants to experience this life style but wouldn't dare to come out and meets for various obivious reasons and only prefer cyber or phone sex with other couples....
One cannot force anyone to what to do...I suggest instead of removing phone verifications, I would rather like to have some sort of symbols that represent what type of verifications it was....if couples want to contact the other couple who has had meets, then let them contact only those couples who had previously met other couples...

Hurrah!! A big thumbs up from us. It's too open to abuse. We've had a few guys, who we've never met before, message us and ask us to verify them by phone. All have been told to bob off! |

No I don't agree,I never cam but don't think that option should be removed,you're seeing that someone is who they say they are...couple,guy or female,how you proceed from then to find out more about that person i sup to you |

do you really need to mother adults if they see someone as only been verified by phone they are less likey to take them seriously - if a guy or a woman for that matter wants a fake verification they will find a way around it and just maybe make it more difficult for people to spot fakes |

Total yes, I ignore them anyway, and I ignore people who do not show any veri's (you know ther is a single veri by phone in there)
Get rid, but please also delete any previously held veri's by phone |

Makes sense if they won't be applicable going forward then past ones shouldn't count either so if the only veri's are phone ones then the tick should be removed |

I agree as for those who only have a phone verification, it means starting all over again to get verified, don't think that is fair at all |

i agree with removing phone veris but not cam ones and also i agree with having an icon to show your verified by meet but not a number of how many as we only show social meets as the more detailed ones are kept private. |

I agree that a different icon for verification by meet would be a great idea. Definitely would not want the number of verifications displayed though - don't see why that would be anyone's business. |

I wouldn't meet anyone with just a webcam verification regardless of how many they've had. I can't see any reason to display the numbers of verifications. |

Bit late to have an opinion really as the option has gone, but I don't understand why different coloured ticks couldn't just be used then it's up to the individual/couple which type of verification they are happiest to put their faith in! I personally only go off in person, but some people enjoy phone/cam interactions x |

think verifications should only be accepted iff personally met them ,we have cammed and chatted on phone for ages and arraanged meets too but they never turn up ,so meet only verifications from me

came across this verification as a "meet"(have removed names of both parties)
Have spoken to this lovely lady many times on the phone and found her to be incredibly charming,funny,very flirty and hugely naughty In short a class act with a filthy playful mind and a sensitive nature looking forward to meeting up. xxxxxxxxxx
don't suppose admin can do much to stop this happening but goes to prove people will abuse the system

i agree its open to abuse but we know it can be , some people only have that option though and it may DEPRIVE some very genuine people from getting the FIRST MEET to get the ultimate verification . that we all respect my first veri was phone then i got a coffee meet because of it |

Well I think a cam show is harder to fake if the person who verifies has the nous to ensure that he or she asks those on cam to perform certain simple tasks, doesn't have to be sexual, things along the lines of "touch your nose" etc to prove that it isn't a pre-recording. Plus it shows the user as being of the correct build/age etc that they have described in their profile so I'd keep that personally.
I agree with doing away with the phone veri though, its easy to fake. Personally if someone has nothing but cam veris its still the proile viewer's decision whether to make contact or not? |

Admin, suggestions have been about using colour coded ticks for verifications to differentiate between webcam, (then) phone and meet verifications.
This effectively would enable others to see if anyone had only webcam verifications, but the tick would change colour on the receipt of at least one meet verification (for those that choose not to display their verifications in full, their choice).
It would help avoid debates of "I'm genuine I've been verified". Correction, you've been webcam-verified. lol. |
