Colour the Green Arrow Search

Was trying to find a comment that a friend had posted as we were in conversation on a subject. I couldn't recall the post title at the time. Finally found it after scrolling though post after post.

Thought what could help in these situations would be if that persons comments one is searching for, were highlighted a different colour, much like your own when scrolling through a post.

Would this be of help or just a waste?

You could use the “Find in Page” feature on your phones browser. Once you’re on the correct post, if you, for example, start typing their profile name you’ll see then

Does that take you straight to their comment in the thread? If so that'll help. If you can't remember the post then it's a long haul though.

"Yes that will take you straight to the word you put in find"

So you need to have a specific word to search what they said then.

Ok.

Would be a lot simpler if you hit green arrow and then when the last 30 posts appear, by selecting one as you quickly scroll down their comment or comments are colour hi-lighted.

The specific word can be the start of their profile name, it’s nothing complex. Try it out and you’d how easy it is.

It has to be a word you want to search for yes, in this case a username. Try it out with your own on this thread

Ok. Not that obvious a method but sounds good.

No need for the green arrow feature now.

Are you on an iPhone or Android phone? And what browser do you use?

"Android and Chrome"

Right when you’ve got chrome open, is there an icon at the top right with three dots (or similar)? Press that. Scroll down a bit and it should say either “Find in Page” or “Find in Page”.

Cheers.

Think my idea would be easier and logical to follow on from the green arrow, but this will do. Thanks
