Reporting timewasters.

Does anyone bother reporting timewasters? If so, what actually happens? I've had two meets planned recently, both of which have turned out to be timewasters. Last week I drove a 70 mile round trip to be ghosted at the last minute and again tonight I've had someone totally ignore me after planning to meet. Timewasters ruin it for us genuine folk and in my opinion should be booted off the site.... |

We've reported someone before & their profile appears to have been taken down.
Worth doing, obv they can create a new profile but maybe their IP address is somehow recognised when doing so & prevented. No idea, just guessing at that last bit! |

Well I decided to report them and their profile immediately vanished. Not sure if it's been taken down or if its hidden from me because I reported them. I totally understand circumstances change and people may have to cancel due to emergencies etc. But people who ignore your messages an hour or so before you're due to meet just ruin it for everyone else.... |

Usually as soon as you report someone you can't view their profile anymore. Doesn't mean they aren't there though because my husband has checked if it was still there from his, when I reported fake pics and the profile was still up. I don't actually know in how many cases the profile is actually taken down.

In the case of "arranged meets, didn't turn up", the reported profile, I assume, wont be taken off immediately because the admin will surely have to determine the authenticity of the report. I think the profile will be taken off if it received multiple/repeated reports from various users (2, 3, 5 - i don;t know).
In my opinion, any case of arranged meet but didn't turn up, without informing the other party (ghosting), should be reported. I'm sure they have done it to other people as well. |

We been stood up 17 times !!!
Booked n paid for 6 hotels - no shows
Drove from Leeds to angel o north - no show ;-(
Yet I tell freak if nature to piss of nature to loss off and we get a ban  )))... how does that work.
All this is because fab is totally free and attracts all the armchair wankers who's sat at home with nothing to do ..soon as fab start charging for this service fab will automatically become a top site.. but not until then . |

In our early days on here we planned to meet with single guys 4 times.
Each time we booked a hotel room in another city away from home and each time a no show with no messages to say why .
Then they either blocked us or left the site.
Why on earth do people do this. |

One of the reasons I only meet local and at home, at least if they don't show I am not left sitting somewhere on my own feeling like a pillock!
I've had a couple of no shows in the past, lots of last moment cancels and more ghosting than I can remember. It's infuriating but I doubt it will never change |

Had a few single guys loose their bottle in meeting when we first joined but never reported them, they would only set up under another name anyway if they had their account closed. Now just chat to them for a year before arranging to meet lol |

£5 a month doesn't keep the messers away .. £150 a year would in one payment , 3 complaints and its account deleted !! I'd be the first to pay for a top quality service with out hassle and genuine people.. till then uts fucked and will carry on getting worse . |

Prepare for a lot of us singles to leave then, a fair few of us may not be able to afford very high membership fees due to only having a single income and possibly being single parents as well. Even timewasters have money, it will make no difference. |

No way could i afford to pay that much! I'm on another site that's £16 PM... just as many time wasters and nutters on there. Your gonna get them everywhere regardless of cost. |

Couldn’t have written a finer list ourselves, we’d add “meet somewhere you like to visit”, that way if it’s a ‘no show’ then you’ve wasted zero time!

10 years on site, and never had a no-show.
If you have been stood up 17 times, I would say you probably need to look at your selection process.
