Looking through the new pics section I often see photos displayed that are not in the user's public gallery, so I can only assume they are from their private/unpublished gallery.
Is this a bug or are all uploaded photos displayed in the new pics section irrespective of privacy settings? |

yep  if user upload pic as public and change latter to pvt/friend it takes time and in between if you are lucky can see pics |

They may have uploaded it as public then changed the setting |
