Preference auto filter

First post on the forum so here goes nothing haha...

Wouldnt it be great if profiles were automatically filtered/hidden/blocked based purely on your preferences...

Say for example your preference was female aged between 18-45 then no one from outside that range could even see your profile?

Find it strange when searching through to find someone i like and then cant send a message as we arent on each others preferences.

Would automatically erase unwanted profiles as you simply wouldnt see them/or be seen to others outside of your own preference

I understand you can do filtered searches but i just feel if it was auto filtered from the moment you complete your profile it would be much easier..

(ps i dont know if its even possible just a thought)
