Having said that.. im not sure it actually shows friends and hotlist "meet todays"

Honeypot... You are indeed correct! 
Always nice to have new people conntact you, but think it would be a nice thing to have only your friends notified that you're looking for a meeting.  |

we put it on our status, as do many others...i think if they dont,they probably arent looking for a meet with friends |

I used our status once for something similar.......I would'nt again so I think being able to have something that only friends are aware of is a great idea if it was possible |
