You've asked a question on an open forum.
People are answering your question with valid reasons why it's a bad idea, in terms of what the membership as a whole wants and the likely financial cost to the membership.
Despite that, you continue to press for what you want.
Put that to one side, have you considered the additional cost in terms of bandwidth, server size, compliance with national and international legislation, and what human resources would be required to moderate the volume of uploads each day?
A photo moderator can review 30 plus pics in 5 minutes. How many 5 minute videos can they review? I'll make it easy for you. One.
How many people would be volunteering to moderate 12 videos an hour of blokes wanking?
The membership don't want it.
Fab management don't want it.
That's enough for everyone else. It's gonna have to do for you too.

A couple of points...he is mentioning it because this is the Feedback section fr people to give feedback. Despite that, you continue to press for what you want ( or don't want )( see what I did there )
A few people on the forum is not the whole site so that doesn't mean the whole of the site might not want it.
I don't think Admin have never said they don't want it, in fact they asked people in their survey if people did want it. |

Good points.
Within the threads I've seen suggesting the facility the vast majority of posters have said no thanks. As you say, that's not the whole site. I should have been clearer.
The facility to upload videos has been around for donkeys years. If the site was thinking about it, I'd have thought it would have happened by now. I should have phrased my comment differently.
