People would probably not alter that either. If it bothers you, just use the search function, you can choose the ages you want to meet. Also use the age filter to stop those outside of those ages from messaging.  |

I think the OP may be referring to searching for people who are looking for someone of your age. People who leave the default 18-99 as their preferred age range will always match.

Yep, and the "I'm the age they're looking for" check box is rendered useless |
