I find as a single speaking to couples can be a bit confusing. I personally ask that couples say who is messaging so i know who is who. Some couples state on their profile who does most of the talking. BUT as with people they do as they please or theres times when both mr and mrs message equally. That being said.... could there be a distinction between couples on profiles like with a group chat on other platforms the chat bubbles are coloured differently so you know its seperate people messaging so the ladies chat bubble is pink say n the gents is blue??? |

Like this idea.
BUT Think who will be first to complain about pink/blue choices and those inbetween who will want lilac and baby players want turquoise, 'cos it's funny to say and the barebacks will want opaque and the safe players will want a red cross and before you know it .....I want beige ...... no vanilla... ?? sorry such a stupid train of thought but I've typed it now. |

We rarely say who it is responding. I think if you see a couple as a unit and respond to each message as such you can't go far wrong. The exception is when they make it clear that one or the other is doing all the messaging.
The same goes for the forum. You wouldn't respond differently to the woman than to the guy, would you?... |

I don’t think this is necessarily a “singles” problem. Very often when a couple message us we have no idea whether it’s the male or female talking. I will always ask due to the fact we have encountered so many fake profiles.
I (the fem) tend to do most of the messaging and will always sign off with a V. I do the same on my forum posts too.

Theres too many fake couple profiles were theres only a male doing the messaging and always says wife not playing atm but she lets me play alone and saying wifes at work so cant play. It's just a ploy to get meets as be cant as a single male profile. |

I rarely talk to couples, on the rare occasions I do, I normally assume it's the male half, unless told otherwise. The colour thing is a good idea, however it could be open to abuse, how does a phone or computer know who is inputting the text ? |

When I talk to couples, it's invariably the male half wanting wank fodder from 100s of miles away. I can usually tell straight away whether it's the male or female, if not, I ask. A lot of the time I don't bother to respond now because of this. |
