Make every member photo verify

Is there a way where fab could ban/block people who dont photo verify them selfs? Not sure on wjat others think but for us and probably lots of others who get fake account/pic hunted etc why cant before your account is made you have to pic verify yourself? That way if you are a fake you wont waste everyones time? |

Admin have stated this will never be applied universally for new members.
PV is used in certain circumstances.
If you think will stop anyone from being a timewaster, you are sadly mistaken. |

It wouldn’t help with fakes at all.
The person could easily fake a photo verification or even photo verify themselves and post photos of someone else.
This already happens on here, which proves photo verification isn’t actually helping with fakes or timewasters. Just block and report. |

It will not help cull them at all i have seen men who are meet verified once and their pictures are all different. |

I have seen profiles on here that are photo verified and the pictures uploaded are off porn websites.
If photo verification was that effective, people wouldn’t be able to post photos that obviously aren’t them would they? |

I don’t think you understood what I meant.
The person has photo verified no doubt with themselves.
But the photos on their profile are off porn sites.
If photo verification was effective there wouldn’t be so many photo verified profiles with someone else’s photos.

We have been members for a few years, have met other Fab members both on meets and at events outside of Fab, we feel absolutely no need to become photo verified after all this time, and certainly don't give a toss if others think we should. |

I've got those filters on.
This week I've had messages from 3 couples.
All site supporters, all photo & meet verified,
But I'm absolutely certain, that it is only the male on the profile now.
Being photo verified only goes so far, you can take the pic with your bit of paper, but what happens when one person leaves? The account is still showing as verified, we put a lot of trust in those little green ticks.
I know it'll never happen, but one solution would be, if a someone is a Site Supporter, when you renew you also have to include another pic to photo veri, including something dated to prove it's a recent pic.
Most of us are adding pics here regularly, ones that are often well thought out & planned. Taking a quick pic with name & date on it requires no effort.

Guy been chatting to for over a day, reverse searched his profile pic it's taken from the internet. 3 Rd profile this week. Why don't admin do the same with pics. |

Can someone explain to me how this would "improve" the site?
Would it mean that PV profiles are not fake?
No.
Would it mean that the person(s) in the profile would turn up for meets?
No.
Would it mean that, if they did turn up, it would be a great meet?
No.
There is a lady on this thread who has uploaded a pic to prove that the system doesn't even work now, so PV would fail too.  |

Why should I be banned or blocked? I am verified by meets, I display verifications, I have pictures in public and private gallery. What more do I need to show I am genuine? |

A photo verification matches up with photos added maybe.
Only thing can do is passport or driving license.
New members shouldnt be able to message straighy away

Those of us who don’t wish to be messaged by new or unverified members can set their filters to stop it happening.
There are tools the site has provided to help people get what they want from the site.
Verification by meet or photo can give false security so are pretty worthless |
