There should be a way to access conversations with a user from their profile.
I can see that I messaged someone 5 days ago, but can’t see what I said. The envelope icon should link to the conversation |

Sounds like a good idea.
I can see sometimes that I might have messaged someone two months ago and I can't go back that far in messages to see what was said.
Mind you, it'll take up a lot of sever space? |

It is a great idea. I don't really think it would take up a lot of server space, it would just link to the messages that are already there, the same as it links to your private notes etc.
Unless of course you have deleted the messages! |
