Am sure this has come up before but what about a distance filter on messages.
I often get messages from people over 100 miles away which is never going to happen.
As much as people say they'll drive for a social that is madness,on the rare occasion I have arranged they always cancel or don't turn up anyway so wastes everyone's time |

Yeah, it's a question of volume I think. Good way to have less unsuitable messages to slog through. |

This send 95% of the time that I do reply too, saying ‘sorry to far away’ |

Following on from the thread the other day regarding those who cannot accommodate not travel, this might be a useful filter for them.
Personally I’m happy to travel and have found some of my most enjoyable meets to be located hundreds of miles away.
Some find it difficult to comprehend why I would spend so long travelling. The meets, when they do happen, dispell initial hesitancies |
