Time waster list

Can admin not do a time waster/no show list and if after people get so many hits from users then they get suspended by admin clearly if they give a good reason they wouldn’t be added to the list anyway!

There are far to many time wasters and no shows happening

We need something to warn others that a person isn’t genuine

Please please please can something be done?

Admin could make it so you couldn’t keep selecting same person yourself it would be a once only then if others had problems with that person they could add only once and so on

It wouldn’t be open to abuse by one individual then

This is a great idea in principle, there are far too many fakes and timewasters on this site, unfortunately I have lots of experience of this, I agree it would be open to abuse

You could always start your own private list and share with people you know are genuine, they can do the same

Wouldn’t be long before the area is far wider than your local area. Everyone adding their mistakes to the list

1 how will admin know if the report is genuine, or simply calling someone a time waster or fake purely because they didn't want to meet?

2 how will admin be able to administer the system when they are all part time volunteers working for free in their own time?

What's to stop us putting you on the list, and then getting all our friends to do the same?

Any system like your "List" is open to abuse.

We haven't been stood up or let down once in nearly 10 years, because we take time to make sure anyone we meet is genuine.

Any system like your "List" is open to abuse.

We haven't been stood up or let down once in nearly 10 years, because we take time to make sure anyone we meet is genuine.

I'm willing to bet you don't rush into meets, use your common sense and due diligence.

Nothing is failsafe unless you have the perfect system in place, our system works for us but isn’t perfect.

We never get let down that’s a guarantee but we don’t always have fun on an evening out.

Just need to find a system that works for you.

Admin have no responsibiity for who you choose to make private arrangements with. They simply provide an outlet whereby like-minded folks can share their interests. It is not up to Admin to police your choices of potential playfriends - that's YOUR job.

If you are getting repeated issues with no-shows etc - then you need to look at your own filtering system.

Do Ebay, Amazon etc not allow negative feedback because it would be open to abuse?

You can leave negative feedback on clubs on here which enables members to make their choice.

Nothing progressive will ever be done though as the bottom line, as ever, is money. The wasters are good earners for the site...

Only the male turned up, said his wife had to leave town in an emergency.

Admin said they will never have a name and shame lost. I will paste onto the next post what Admin say they do with reports. They work very hard to get rid of unsuitable people.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
