I think that the ability to " like" or "disagree" by tapping on a box adjacent to comments would be interesting. It would give an idea how the post had been recieved by readers without having to read through dozens of relpies! Who likes or disagrees with this?

Only if it was possible to disable the function if you didn't want it on your posts.

The less popular contributors would get far fewer likes than the forum darlings.

New single men in particular get a rough time, something like this would make it worse.

But if it how people feel then should it be censored? It would not be compulsory to tick a box anyway!

It's not censored, there's the opportunity to reply to posts in the forum.

So why would a couple of non compulsory boxes bother you after you have made your con compulsory comment?
