As a relative newcomer to this site I mistakenly thought that giving a verification was to confirm, after a meet etc, that a person was genuine. However from recently browsing some profiles it would appear many people are using it as a meet journal/diary of their meets with multiple veris being given by the same person over a period of time. Isn’t there a way of admin blocking someone giving a verification to someone if they’ve already verified them? |

Many folk meet others again & again and they want to leave another veri! It shows that the folk are decent enough to meet again & again! If u meet folk once or 500 times u can do as u please with veris i dont see the issue here! |

I'm unsure what difference it makes to the extent that you want admin to change the whole way the site works? |

So you're moaning about repeat verifications when you actually have them yourself  
Let people take care if their own verifications and profiles and you take care of your own. If you don't like what you see , move on |

In your opinion.
I believe the original intent of the veri system was to show that profile was run by the person in the description and was the correct gender, not entirely sure what you mean by 'genuine'.
But there is nothing in the site rules against leaving multiple veris so some people can and do write a veri after each meet.
I use it as an additional filter, someone to steer clear of as they seem to have a pretty possessive 'friend'. |
