New Room Ideas for Admin

How about a room for meet today or meet this week. Would be useful to have a room for those looking to meet or available for meets. What do people think?? |

I think that is a great idea, i know we would use it, its so hard even with the date tonight bits to find someone who is available to respond now who wants a date tonight so ur always left hanging to see if they get back to you or not - so all in all great idea! |

I'm all in favour of a rant room.
On another site we are on, there is a rant room which gives members a place to vent their gripes and moans without disrupting the main forums and topics.
If someone does start ranting in a main forum post it can be moved to the rant section, also it serves a good purpose in that it will save people from time out bans in the forums.
It would make the moderators job easier and members less disgruntled that their post has been deleted. It(the rant room) does work and I think it would make a good addition to the forums.

Fair enough, we all overstep the mark at times but it would help from upsetting others in the normal forums.
It does have more pro's than con's and should all be taken with a pinch of salt at what the posters rant about and maybe a little more leniency could be tolerated in the rant section. |

I get what you are saying, but everyone can have a rant if they want one, if people get upset by it, they maybe they should try not to read them or ignore when they do.
Everyone has to stick to the rules, you can't have leniency for different sort of posts.
A question for you...I am not understanding the whole rant thread you mention somewhere else, what exactly is it for and is it just a load of people complaining and if you post after it do you have to complain too?. |

Its just a section in the forums where people go to vent some anger or whatever has got to them, without upsetting the flow of the normal threads on the forum. Anyone can reply with their own comments and views.
Its not allowed here to link to other sites but would gladly do so to give you an insight as to how it works. |

how about a room where you can only get in if your cam is on , it would save the hassle involved with people that "sit" on your cam without ever speaking or turning their own cam on . |
