Now i dont mind being a site supporter... infact i prefer it for many reasons.
But i do find that new guys buy a gold straight out thinking itll mark them as anything other than a desperate newbie.
And men dont have to "maintain" their inbox.
Single females and couples have alot of messages they want to decline... or people they would like to speak to but cant due to the sheer volume of messages. It reduces the fun on the site when u have stroppy men messaging or a block list as long as ur arm.
The site needs to find ways of attracting other females... or look at reducing the amount of men signing up going gold, being abusive, just hounding for pics and sex and missing the community aspect... the respect aspect and the cells of brain matter which should stand them above apes. |

To be fair it's not the sites fault if a percentage of guys joining are arseholes. The site has rules and allegedly enforces them. They could make guys read and agree to the rules before they join, but would it make much difference? There will always be arseholes in any community. |

The site supporter feature is exactly that, one contributes financially, and not merely with ones gender, to enable the site to function and develop. And as a thank you, you can have some additive site features that make it more functional.
I don’t know whether to let the feminist in me go on a passionate rant about equality regardless of gender or listen to the cynic in me wondering if this is a wee touch of self-entitlement?
Set your mail filters correctly to reduce your mail from the less appealing types, to reduce inbox size.
Then Look at and answer the mails that interest you and ignore and bulk delete the rest. Enjoy the people that interest you on the site, have fun and be safe.
Or just go off to another site.

I get inundated with rubbish mail of single words or even just an ‘X’ and it is annoying. However, doesn’t mean to say every single guy is being an arse. I personally filter by age, non newbies and must be verified and that sorts out a bulk. The rest, I simply ignore and delete if they can’t be bothered with putting effort in.
The feminist/equalist in me though does have to point out that although not as bad, women/couples/TVs can be just as bad and the amount I have been speaking with before and mid-convo they just decide...Neh! And then don’t have the courtesy to actually say, ‘sorry, decided it’s probably not for me’.
As for women getting SS for free, what would that achieve exactly? It won’t get more women onto the site, just more that sign up for the full function.
