We are really liking the new 'Site News' section on our updates.
It would be great if admin could use this regularly to keep us up to date on changes and perhaps use it to remind site users of the fab faqs and rules.
EG:
No response to your message means a polite no thanks
Don't waste fab server space by putting the Sydney University blurb on your profile
Search previous forum threads before you start a new one
To name a few.
It's a great tool newbies could use to learn the in's and out's of fab.
Doing a great job, missed it during the 3 hours down time today, thanks very much for the 24hr extension!

Yes they are, but itseems a lot of people don't know they exist or read the faqs. Especially new members often post questions that can be answered just by reading them.
Even a site news update directing users to the faqs every now and then might be helpful.

I don't believe adding the Sydney spiel to your bio wastes server space any more than adding a regular bio - but I agree, regular updates would be nice even the techy ones |
