We're trialling a few new (unregistered) homepage layouts. You might see different ones depending on when you login. The aim is to make the site more enticing to unregistered users. It looked very plain and unswingery.
One of the main changes you might see (depending on which version is served up) is a "featured user" pic on the right hand side. Plan is to change this weekly using photos from folks who specifically submit them for this purpose (see http://www.fabswingers.com/my/homepagephoto to learn more about this).

We can check the submitted photo against the verification and verify it is of who it's meant to be. Otherwise people could submit stuff they've downloaded from elsewhere.

so because _ilandlarry aint photoverified, but are mods and have been verified by other posters - that fab ass aint allowed on homepage?? No fair!
I dont want to be photo verified, but am real, been verified, and have nice pics that are defo me. Ah well....guess im just not real enough. |

We'll probably review this requirement at some point. At the moment it's easier for us to control the number and provenance of photos if we restrict that page to PV users. If someone really wants their photo on the homepage they just need to PV and can access the page.

To be fair, even if someone is still well verified (like yourself, us and _ilandlarry) wouldnt stop us from using a pic from the web to submit for usage on the home page. Least if we are PV'd then admin have something to check against that its our pic.
Dont think I would get away with submitting a pic of an adonis with a 6 pack, lol

To be fair, even if someone is still well verified (like yourself, us and _ilandlarry) wouldnt stop us from using a pic from the web to submit for usage on the home page. Least if we are PV'd then admin have something to check against that its our pic.

but again steve you are real enough to be a moderator on the site... im not so fair enough.
Any person can choose to photo verify, and this is how some single men and women get a first verification, doesnt mean they are worthy of advertising the site though.
Anyhow, its a work in progress, lets see how it pans out. Good idea. |

Don't know if I'm right but I stand corrected if I'm wrong. But ever since this feature has been introduced about a month ago, the featured Fabswinger user hasn't changed - at least not on my home page. |
