We're experimenting with a higher upload allowance so you can have more images in total.
* If you are VERIFIED, your total photo allowance will be doubled.
* If you are PHOTO-VERIFIED, your total photo allowance will be doubled.
* So if you are verified AND photo-verified your total photo allowance will be tripled.
These new image limits are live now. (Daily upload limits remain the same).
Some examples:
A verified (by others) gold member has new allowance of 150 * 2 = 300
A photo-verified standard member has new allowance of 12 * 2 = 24
A photo-verified and verified silver member has allowance of 50 * 3 = 150
etc.
Feedback welcome in this thread.

Can see the benefit of photo-verified increase at a push but gold and silver members is just excessive.
Can't see the point of in excess of 50 pics on any account and only a minority would have so many.
Far more priority 'improvements' for the benefit of the majority surely. |

The updates with the inboxes were actually useful so I got hopeful. Everything since then has just been about pics (like the changes made to hot pics and those detailed here).
Personally I think there are more important improvements that can be made than having 300 pics on a profile or more pics visible on the first page of hot pics.  |

To be honest we agree, we've had over a 100 photos on our profile, then get asked why no cock pic, it isn't that there's no cock pic it just so happens that it's the last 2 pics and no one can be bothered to look.
Added to the fact who wants to see 75 different angles of the same dick.
Have cut it down to 25 ish now think that's far more sensible? |

I like the small changes they are making. I work in system development and a managing a internal portal similar to this site (not swinging or porn though) and while doing large develoments theres often quick wins to keep people happy. I suspect in the mail overhaul they have increased or improved image storage and handling and this is a positive side effect of that.
But as some posters have said it would be nice to have simple things on profiles to identify the male or female in the stats for e.g.

Agree its not a feature that we will make use off, however for some I am sure it will be of benefit. We have the minimum on Public and dont see we would increase anytime soon.
The feedback forum is full of features that people really want I would look at them. A Super search on specific text in profiles for members only might be one.

Any improvements are always welcomed and can only be a good thing (for the most part).
I agree that it will be a haven for pic collectors with more choice & may encourage more renewals.
However, storage costs are ten a penny these days, so I think it would have been more exciting introducing short video clips.
Again, it would be a dream for the collectors, but a better enhancement to offer.
I would agree with the previous posts though that there is a lack of two way communication between the administrators and their customers in terms of enhancements and development.
Surely they must read these posts.
It’s not hard to take on board enhancement comments and have an announcement of product roadmap to the development of fab, so we at least know some of these requests are slated to making it into the product and not just vanishing into the Ethernet.
Tripling photo allowance, giving us HD pics (which don’t make a massive difference imo), a little dot to say when we’re online, grouping inbox messages and an unfinished mobile/iPhone cam that’s been going on for years is rather underwhelming! |

Yes but they are prioritising changes that will bring in picture collectors, porn voyeurs and money. They have made very little changes that will improve site functionality like searches, profiles and national areas - things that will make it easier for swingers to find and arrange meets with people who match what they are looking for in places/areas that they can travel to/would like to meet in. We don’t need to see thirty, fifty, one hundred or even three hundred pictures of a person to know if we’d find them attractive. However if we wanted to just collect some pictures or get ourselves off, the more pictures the better!"
But surely more money = more investment in the site?
I like more pictures & I like better mailboxes. Yes, there are other things needed IMO but baby steps!! |

Thks for increasing the allowance for those of us who subscribe and put up meaningful and complete profiles. But why on earth are you rewarding standard users and those with incomplete profiles surely you should be reducing their allowance or limiting the time their pics are visible??? |

Interestingly (and I know the forum truncates) but I see no enhancement requests for more photos.
I do see a couple for videos.
And I do see one from a lady asking for help from fab when they reject her pics for not being blurry (ie provide a blurring tools inside the product to make it easier, user friendly and a one stop shop for the less technical users).
I do live in hope that someone is reading this that can make a difference. Better searching/grouping/filtering/categories is what this site needs and some of this isn’t hard to implement (given it’s already in place). |

Now that we can add even more photos, I do think it will be really useful to be able to put them in the order we like, instead of date order.
I think it's a good idea to leave the date on the photos so people can see when they were added to the site, but just to have your best ones showing first if you wish to. |

I really love this update, I've been on here for 5 years and I'm nearly always capped at the 150 limit as I've got old pics that I'd like to keep but not show, so i'm constantly deleting to make room for newer pictures.
People being negative with the pic collectors comments, you risk that on any sort of site that you upload your pictures so i dont see what relevence it makes to upping the limit on here?? You can't please everyone but I think this has been a long awaited improvement |

This is great, thanks admin. This will allow us non members to upload a pic or two that has randomly been taken when the mood suits. Instead of thinking of playing monopoly with the few photos we have the allowance for. Although for anyone viewing my page I am not a regular photo taker bit this is something which will certainly get me in the mood to want to take and share more. In turn I am sure others are thinking the same.
I admit that although on the site regularly I don't yet find myself in a position to want a silver or gold membership.
You provide for all and that has been a huge reason why I have stayed loyal and enjoy what you as a site have to offer and I have had and indulged in some fantastic times because of this.
As for comments made about pic collectors. There are persons on this site that love the attention and want there photos to be seen by potential meets or just because they love themselves and want to share their beauty. This site does offer a report system for anyone feeling that there rights are being abused.
Unfortunately for any member access to photos and profiles can be shared via any user whether or not a site supporter or not.
So the amount of photos o or enhance this but does slow to give the genuine people to enjoy what each of us has to offer and potentially more meets and fun woo be had.
Fab is moving with the times and still provides a good service to the all site users wether we pay for additional services or not.

Love the update. I've been at the 150 gold limit for a while now, with mostly unique pics, just several years worth. I already removed all of my private pics and keep having to remove friend only ones to add new public ones.
Let's face it, web space and bandwidth are a lot cheaper than they used to be. No reason why the limits can't be increased. Increasing the daily upload limit would be more work for the moderators, though. There's going to be a surge from people who had full accounts, as it is.
I'm just considering whether to still try to keep it to 150 and go silver rather than gold next time, or whether to re-add the friend only and private ones that I've taken off. |

Fantastic as my silver limit is a almost full. My only worry is for you guys. People might be getting gold membership for the increased number of photos and now silver has increased they may just be silver members in future....less income for you. |

Rolling out small improvements is a great way of making the site better. Easier to test and put live than a humongous (vvwe!) one. So to be applauded. But would be nice to know what is in the backlog - like the search changes that everyone desires maybe!

I agree, would reduce the page loading time especially on mobiles.
Also it would be nice to have the ability to reorder photos as well as the ability to bulk delete photos rather than having to delete them one by one. |

To be honest, the site has become a site for picture collectors and would be wannabe models. I think limits on pics would be a good idea, plus how about vetting them properly. I am stunned at how many "fake" females post random pics of different women on their profile, yet are allowed to get away with it. For the integrity of the site, please do something about it as many of us as getting fed up with the time wasters on here. |

My personal opinion, increasing photo limits is a move forward but will cause some issues.
I am amateur photographer and I do love a well framed photograph, it’s art and on this site erotic art! (my favourite combination). Photos express more than words say! Thus, people tend to view photos than read profiles and being lazy. I am not a picture collector as I would rather create my own for everyone else enjoyment – whatever that maybe! But I do suggest you watermark your photos, it makes much harder to replicate elsewhere.
But my biggest gripe, being a singleton, is that I can’t publish any of my photographs without me being in them!! I have meet a few wonder ladies and couples on here but I am NOT allowed to publish the photo. So I would like to suggest the “ADMINISTRATORS” review their policies!!! They seem so far behind the times with other similar sites….

Don't really see the point tbh,i think you could improve other areas instead,ie no friend invites frome people we haven't chatted too,and a distance message filter,also as we are in scotland and browse meets we can't divide scotland up ie north,west,south and so on or area searches. |

I think the changes to allow so many photos, are not what he site should be about.
There have been some positive changes recently... This is not one of them.
Please can Fab concentrate on improvements that reflect what the site is supposed to be about? Swinging ...
So, things like:
Improved profile information enabling sex / gender to be designated for members of a couple.
Wider range of profile descriptors overall and corresponding search parameters. Though not all need to be compulsory.
Better body shape descriptions.
A big suggestion on sign up to include a 'body shot'.
Requirement for a minimum text length of say 100 characters.

Will be interesting to see how many actually use it. I just can't see it tbh. If people haven't time to read profiles not sure they've time to look at 150 or photos.
I already speed scroll with my phone through if some has 50 pics and even then mostly just view the first 5 or 6. This give an idea of interest or creativeness. Most people just have multiple variants of the same angle. |

Even though I have set up my security to not allow my pictures to be seen on search engines I find that if you type in my username fabswingers into Google my photos are there.. Even friends only ones...
Explain please...
I assume a greater volume of photos is an advertisement ploy |

If your settings allowed this initially and then afterwards you’ve opted out, it can take a couple of weeks to disappear from search, because the search engines periodically redo their indexing.
Fab will have no control over this process.
I don’t know what the default setting is, but if “opt out” isn’t the default setting, then maybe it needs to be. |

Need to make an improvement on getting people who have been on here for over a year to put pics on in the first place. Don't think saying I have an important job should be allowed we all have jobs and wouldn't want our bosses to find out but how would they unless they are on here too. We are not doing anything wrong.
You can only have so many cock and fanny pics anyway come on Admin makw the right changes. |

The problem is that those pictures show my face and I never show my face..
Plus they are several years old and still on the top of the search engines..
Not sure how it happened but they were in my friends only gallery.. |

Thanks for the screenshot. The photos aren't spidered or taken from Fab. If you contact us privately we can offer some specific advice on how to get them taken down

Fab does not currently have a system in place where one can choose which demographics can view or fab pictures that are posted publically. This I think would be a good addition to the photo section which seems to be getting a lot of revamping attention.
Would Admin like to comment on this? |
