Colour coded messages

I'm wandering what are people's thoughts on colour coded messages.

For example all unread are currently yellow and friends ones have a smiley pic.

How about doing something along the lines,

Blue - New message from verified user within preferences.

Green - New message from verified user outside of preferences.

Red - User not verified by photo or meet.

Purple - User not verified by meet.

Cyan - Message contains at least 100 characters

Etc.

We have message filters we can use that stops most of who we arent looking for messaging

Options to specify your own colours for existing message flags that are already shown in text or as badges would be quite a simple addition. Being able to highlight replies over new, friends and hotlisters, or even highlighting a message you want to get back to like an address or phone number would be quite helpful when trying to find a message.
