Sick of speaking to time wasters on here, any one else agree with the following method.
User sends a face pic to show themselves.
Once both parties have recieved pics of other, they then request the other party to take a pic as described by the other party. Ie Party 1 would ask Party 2 to send a pic with their fist infront of the face, a picture they would need to take just for the cause.
The pic could then be veried against the 1st pic sent to verify that the person is who they say they are.
If we all start doing this we can out the saddo pathetic time wasters x |

Sorry but I wouldn't be prepared to go through extra 'vetting'
I chat to people in depth before I agree to a social meet.
I have more than enough veris to prove I'm real, not a time waster.
Only reason I've ever had to cancel anything was due to being very ill.
Choosing wisely who you'd like to meet, avoids potential time wasters |

OP, if you're continually coming up against timewasters maybe re-think your own selection process.
I've yet to have any issue with timewasters in over 9 years, so I'll stick with common sense and gut instinct. |

"What is your definition of a timewaster out of interest
Someone who wastes 1 minute to several hours of your time."
To me a timewaster is someone who arranges to meet and doesn't show up on the day |

"Blimey who has time for that?!
I’ll stick with my gut instincts. Not let me down in 11 years. "
Totally agree
It's up to you as an individual to connect with the person, their messages n say the right things, ask the right questions to see if they are Timewaster's. I'm a guy and even I don't send a face pic in first message.
Sometimes I send a message to someone who I know I have no intention of meeting and I will never ask but my message is just to ask them a question or something I noticed and think they should know. so why do I have to send them a face pic.

"Im talking more once a relationship has been established and a meet is being arranged.
This weeks out the single males that find fun in pretending they are a couple or a female x"
heres the simplest way to make sure the person they are with the second pic etc..
Send the person a pic of you holding a bit of paper with their name and ask they do the same. That way you both know its recent and are intent. Again it wouldn't stop timewasters but at least you know the person looks serious and is the same person they say they are.
Have any single girls asked to speak to the couple by phone and then get the guy on phone without the female, sounds familiar. Or a girl asking to speak to the single guy and he speaks on phone, quiet, and sounding echoy as if hes in the toilet, hiding loll
Oh how fab timewasters make it harder for the genuine lollllll |

"All depends whether you want someone who is genuine or you want a performing seal
"
lollll, Agreed that's the thing, when you join fab you have your views and what you want from the site or from swinging but then after all the crap we get, timewasters, assholes etc...
and then we change how we act on here, being more tighter with messages, not as trusting people as we did at first one here, learning from our experiences.
Everyone's different on their experience and how they react to their experiences and sometimes on here, well usually, its good to see peoples views and ideas on how to avoid timewasters etc.. but we all wont see it the same positive way or think its a good idea, which is nothing wrong with that. Lets just all learn from our experience and try to avoid it happening the best way we can |

and what I said about paper with name etc... I haven't done it, nor will I.
I like to think I'm quite good at finding out if they are a timewaster or not but I know for a fact, people might have to cancel for a genuine reason as normal life is more important to us than on here and so it should be

"We don't meet male's so can't say there time wasters but two couples have let us down one we met at a party who was meet verified and the other was verified "
Yeah its just not guys who are timewasters but some reasons maybe genuine.
I could be wrong but prob men are the biggest timewasters but it cannot be proven as there is no stats to say as much. |

No thanks, I,m not doing that or asking anyone to do it for me. It still wouldn't stop no shows and just chatters.
You go and run your fab experience how you want to and let others do likewise.
There will always be time wasters, it's the internet, suck it up. |

We class a "no show" as one type of timewaster.
A pic collector is another, where you've spent time messaging, swopping photos and then they fall off the planet. |

"Best way to avoid timewasters:
Arrange to meet in club, see them, say hello, chat, progress to play if everyone wants.
If they don't turn up, go and have fun with someone else!
Works for us"
That’s our strategy. It’s worked brilliantly so far! |

No way! Taking a new photo for every single correspondence is exactly the kind of annoying demands associated with pic collectors and timewasters. I'm not taking a new photo just to prove I'm real. You have verifications for that. |

"You can out me as a timewaster then. Bollocks to that "
Have to agree. What's wrong with checking veris and having a chat on the phone or cam? Far simpler! If you do try this, let us know how it went OP. Good luck x |

I'm not a fan but make your own system that works for you.
What specifically are you having happen op and with what verification level of people?
Consider how quickly you're supposedly meeting after first contact and what types and pattern of communication you have leading up to the meet. |

Exactly this. People should do what works best for them. |

Why don’t they have a agreed to meet button. Once 2 people arrange to meet they both press the button for the other to confirm. If you showed up and are genuine once verifications are wrote happy days, but if you didn’t show there’s a way to show others how many times you haven’t shown.

We tell anyone getting in touch if we're interested we chat here first until we get to know them better then a social meet to see how we get on but theres no guarantee of anything more then its up to them if they want to chat or not |

We like this sort of system for people who don't have meet verifications yet. It can be hard to get your first verification, especially if clubs aren't your cup of tea (and from what I've seen on the forums, single guys find it especially hard). Obviously there's no need if the person has meet veris already, but if we're interested in someone who hasn't got one yet, we'll ask for something like this. If it's too much effort that's fine, we'll go our separate ways with no hard feelings from our side |
