I was under the impression that if someone asked to join your friends, you had the option to accept or reject that request.
I've just had e-mail notification of a request, but when I checked the "My Account" page, no new request was showing. I then checked my Friends list and this person is already there!
So.......... has this request gone straight onto my Friends list, or is it the case that this person was already on my Friends list, and this was a 2nd request, the person not realising that they were already a Friend?
Just interested as to whether they are a bit of a plonker, or whether the system has failed!!

Sounds like they were already on your friends list and there's a bug whereby you can re-submit a friend request.
For someone to be a mutual friend it requires another row in a database and it can't get there accidentally - you must confirm or request them yourself

Thanks Admin, I did suspect that the lady concerned was already on my Friends List!
Having said that, she's no longer as her request this morning followed being given the silent treatment after we'd talked about meeting this morning!!
Isn't the swinging lifestyle fun?? lol
Thanks again for your help. |
