Just now I was looking at a profile and it said we'd exchanged messages two months ago.
This conversation isn't showing on my messages page any more, it would be good if I could click on the profile message and be taken to the thread. That way I can see if they told me to do one, it if the conversation just quietly died. |

I think the idea is to get you to upgrade hence paying fab and fab making money.
When you've upgraded it shows.
I said that hoping I've understood your thread point. |

Wrong... The op means when you click on a persons profile it says last message sent xxx time ago but can't see the messages in their inbox and want to be able to click that message on the profile and be took to their conversation |

Oh right I see.
On basic it doesn't show that. My upgrade has expired so doesn't tell Me if I've messaged them when I look on profiles.
Well at least I don't think it does I'll just check or may seem thick again lol.

It would be a fab idea but I think the reason why not is because messages get deleted after a certain time due to site storage.
A way around this is after messages are exchanged, post a private message on the users profile summarising what was said. For example we would put “exchanged face photos and chatted, lovely couple but just waiting for right time to meet”.
Hope that helps,
A x |

Good idea, but only really works if you remember to make notes at the time. If a conversation has just fizzled out and you then come across the profile a few months later it can be useful to check back on the previous messages just to see what happened.
I guess it kinda raises the point of what's the need for separate message threads with their own subject? |
