When I comment on a forum post, if it anything more than a few words, people can post several times whilst I'm still busy typing.
This can lead to disjointed threads.
Would it be possible to have your comment position appear at the point you start commenting at, rather than the point when you hit "Post Message".

If you had more time, would it help, knowing your position on the thread wasn't going to be gazumped?
Also, how much clearer would the hot or not threads be  |

But if you want to refer to something in sequence, it would be helpful to know who you quoted instead of just the quote. |

Also if you just quote, doesn't mean it will end up in sequence. |

Not really.
If I'm replying to a specific comment, then I'll quote it.
