I'd like to be able to exclude certain profiles from my search results without blocking those people from contacting me.
That way I wouldn't be tantalized by constantly seeing, say, people who exclude my age range; but if those people come to their senses and decide they want to contact me, nothing's stopping them.

with the age range you can tick the box in the browse function that says "I must match their age requirements too"
Then when they eventually come to their senses they can get in touch |

"id like the option to not have one word messages "
As much as I agree with answers like this, I must admit when the answers turn into farce and comedy it kills the OP's point somewhat.
I get what he means, he just gave a bad example. He doesn't want to block people, he just means can he search for people without having the top 5 pages of results being from people he's already either had no reply from, or who's profile has read and found himself unsuitable enough to feel he shouldn't make the first move.
At least that's what I took from it, could always be wrong. |

We'd like to block bi or bi-curious guys. It's just not our thing.
I'd say at least 50% of the guys who contact us are bi or bi-curious, even though our profile clearly states we won't be considering them.
That's the real problem - people not reading profiles. Sadly, there's probably no way around that. |

That's also how I read it but uve articulated it much better than I could have.
