Accidental friend removal

I have accidentally deleted friends on my iPhone 4. I've done this by trying to scroll down my friends list and hitting the remove friend tab. Can it be changed so we have to confirm the removal to prevent this?

We've made this change as requested so if you try and remove a friend from your friend list you are now asked to confirm.

Perhaps someone could give it a whirl on their iphone?
