We're starting to roll out photo categories. If you're on the mobile site, you can choose categories for any of your public photos from your "manage photos" page. (This feature will roll out across the desktop site shortly).
The categories vary depending on WHO is in the photo as selected when you upload the photo (and confirmed during moderation). So a photo of a female has different categories available to a photo of a male.
The next phase of this is to allow search and browse of photos by category. So if you have a thing for guys with beards or long hair, you'll be able to search for photos of them. If you just want to be able to browse photos of people "outdoors", you'll be able to do that too.
We'd welcome feedback on any of this including the categories we've chosen and any you think are missing/should be added.
Some things to mention:
* This is work-in-progress
* We want to make it easier for you to find people/photos you like/want
* It's optional. If you never want categories applied to any of your photos, you can opt out on the privacy page.

When is it going to become compulsary for everyone to have a veried pic. It would stop single guys making fake couple an sungle girl profiles. Forget catogrising pix just make every member verify to stop all the timewasters |

Just look for the photo-verified flag on profiles if you want this

If you don't want people copying your photos, keep them private. It's only for public photos."
well said and not just that but if your willing too upload them too an internet site that thousands can view an copy an save onto computers well its really your own fault a watermark aint going too stop someone from stealing your photos. And thats coming from a couple whos photos where stolen from this site and other sites. Just our opinion |

For guys, rather than "wearing: boxer shorts" it would be better to have simply "wearing: underwear", though as there's one for guy wearing ladies perhaps "wearing: guys underwear". |

Indeed - however in my line of business a certain amount of thinking takes place before you unleash something like this to end users as they will quite happily tear you a new one! What I’ve seen so far is lacking somewhat - as my pics are already up I’m not going to categorise them unless I’m forced to. Anyway, in general I still think that categorising pics is a very difficult thing to do successfully.

It sounds that to satisfy everyone your list of categories could be as long as your arm and then some!
I appreciate that some people want to search very specifically but I do not think that changes should be compulsory on this level.
I agree though that it should be considered more important to get every member photo verified when they open an account.
You guys do a great job and I know you can't please everyone. |

I think it's a step in the right direction in making the site more modern / techie.
I've seen countless posts on why can't we do this & that search wise, so maybe this is the start of listening to feedback coupled with the ability / want to update the site. |

(Because not everyone likes using transsexual, it's apparently old fashioned but really transsexual is someone who has had surgery to transition and transgender is the umbrella term to include everyone who is trans no matter what they have or have not had done)

As someone who has developed software my only advice would be dont provide too many options as Users will percieve it as a pain in the arse and give up on it.
If you do you will find they opt for the "dont use it" setting you were talking about....
My own view is that there are far more pressing things to concentrate on before this but, as a Developer, its always more fun working on new stuff...

I love (as an example) the bigger girl so, if I can check out what I specifically like in the locality, then perfect! I don't think it aids pic collectors as I wouldn't imagine they'd have the brains to work it out anyway...

Yeah for that kind of specifics it's useful but tbh I can't see myself wanting to look for any one type of photo.
I'd personally prefer the ability to upload a photo onto a forum thread, along the line of an avatar challenge or Tits out Tuesday. |

I like being organised so kind of like it for that reason but the choice of categories has me in a quandary. Only female hair colour listed? Blonde. Big tits or small tits? Well, I don't know, in comparison to what? Bigger than a D cup? Cup size? Band size? So I choose neither. Female bum (not explicit) as a category. Does naked count? What if my bum is in knickers but just in the shot not the focal point of it? Selfie? Well, if I took it myself it is but it might not be a phone pointing at my face pouty one. In corset and tutu? Clothed or lingerie? Wearing my glasses but head not in shot - do I select yes or no? Same with heels. Close up? As in macro photography or an inconclusive squint at a random body part shot? And if I move shots from public to friends or vice versa will I have to go through the whole process again?

Updating the profiles themselves would be time better spent really... being able to search profiles by sexuality would be of better use to find what you are looking for. I know there is the search for profiles that are bisexual, but that is a bit ambiguous as there isn’t a set male or female half. You have to spend time trying to work out by height and body type categories who is who on the profile.
Only by revamping the profiles can genuine swingers search for the type of people they are looking for. It would enable more search options.
Having it on the pictures - and looking at the category types - it is just so you can see pictures of things you like. Almost like browsing porn. You would assume that only site supporters would be able to see more than one page, so premium users will get more results. It appears to be a money making feature that would see more picture collectors join the site for cheap porn. |

Hi Admin, Good idea to tag photos but why not just have a keyword search to cover the whole site, which would able the user to search any tagged photo's or user location, would free up server space by removing the Advanced Search and browse categories.
While you have the broom out also clean up the forum history dating back to 2009 which I expect no one reads.  |

Admin sit back and think how many requests you are going to have when this is fully rolled out, cant wait to see how many categories boxes there are .one for Diphallus think not. Keyword search would say you a lot of requests mail . |

Okay I'm not trying to be a killjoy and maybe I'm missing the point of the search feature albeit in beta testing ~ but who is going to scroll through 800+ "blonde" photos for example?
What's the point in me categorising my photos "blonde", "nude" etc etc if 1. More than 1 tag can't be used & 2. if my catagorised photo of say a few days ago is number 700 & ain't gonna see the light of day...  |

Brilliant Idea guys, I like more of a hardcore side to it...ie I put up fisting or watersports pics and they sometimes get removed but it's ok to put that as an interest. I know everyone has different taste and fetishes so if we can talk about it and mention it in our interests why can't we show it and get messages from you guys saying it's not to everyone's taste, they don't have to click on it. Great idea guys never the less keep up the good work.

Sure I'm being thick here. We have the option in account to catergorise pics. But where abouts do you go to search for pics of i.e. big boobs? Been on new photos and hot photos but only see the usual catergories of woman, couple etc. |

It's only available ( testing wise ) on the mobile site, there's a link at the bottom of the homepage for site supporters to click. |

Oh yeah; I guess it helps if I scroll through all the previous posts; I see you are still considering categories. I think it's fair to say that some of us will want to apply similar categories to those which those who identify as female have access to, while others will want to use the same categories as men. And just to be difficult some will want to use both! |

Actually no it isn't about what surgery we've had. Transsexual is a medical term used by doctors to describe somebody who experiences gender euphoria. That's why we see terms like pre-op transsexual and post-op transsexual. If it was purely about surgery, those terms would be redundant.
Transsexual is also a legal term which occurs in the Equality Act 2010. The Act says that, for the purposes of the Act, a person who has the protected characteristic "gender reassignment" is a transsexual and, conversely, that a transsexual is a person who has the protected characteristic "gender reassignment" is a transsexual.
For the avoidance of doubt, a person has the protected characteristic "gender reassignment" if they have undergone, are undergoing, or intend to undergo a process, or part of a process, for the purposes of changing a physiological or other characteristic of sex.

Best thing fab have introduced in ages although some uploaded clearly don’t understand the category. Maybe when photos are verified on upload the person moderating the photo could check activities remove from those they do not apply to. For example a woman pictured in just a thing as hot as she looks is not classed as clothed to me. Other than that fantastic improvement. |

Some thoughts on the male options:
Should be a shaved option, same as for women. If we can look for shaved pussy, they should be able to look for SHAVED COCK.
Six pack and BIG muscles are not going to apply to many guys if we're honest, some alternative descriptions would be good, e.g. BUFF, TONED, SLIM, SHAVED CHEST... |

I'm on a Samsung A5 android phone. I can see the "not yet categorised" tag when on the manage photos page.
But when selecting a photo to categorise, there are no options.

You're overthinking it.
You put ALL that may apply. So, if you're not sure between two categories which individual photo would belong to, you put both.

Thanks fab. I do like this new feature and have been trying out various categories. the limit of 5 themes is good for each pic, but if the list of different categories gets much bigger, it may become more confusing and cumbersome.
Most of our pics are of us taking pics of each other and whilst there is usually only one of us in the pic, when it is uploaded it has always stated mf couple even if only f in the photo.
With the New categories, it is only solo profiles photos that come up,and you have to go to yet another link to see photos from a couple.
Whilst this is great for those who wish to see a selection of topless women for example with their boobs out, my photos as a couple profile are hidden within a further link so not accessed the same

I'd suggest reporting as "Other" then putting an explanation in the text box e.g. "Classified as leggy blond, should be short, hairy bloke"
