Suggestion - user advice to new messagers

Central

An option to set a pop-up advice box, containing words of advice of your choice to users messaging you for the first time, for example.

The problem/opportunity -

Users getting messages incompatible to their situation at that time, such as Meet now'.

The user could set a pop-up alert notice to anyone starting a new message to them, with words such as 'I'm not doing any immediate meets today'.

This may discourage the type of messages that can often overload some people here.

Users could choose whether or not they use the feature as well as what the notification message would say. Site supporters could perhaps have an advance form of it, such as the notification message flashing.

At present some users temporarily turn on blocking of single male users to achieve a similar end - ie it stops messages when they are not meeting - but that can also potentially mean that a someone who would otherwise be of interest doesn't return to them. If this new feature is available it would not stop anyone using their filters however they want to.

The advice notice feature has many potential uses, not just related to meets. Users could set it to inform people messaging them of anything they wished to 'I prefer a face pic in first message', Read my profile before messaging' etc.

Ideally this would help reduce those messages that are relevant, at that point, for the user being messaged.

Who thinks it's a useful option?
