you can see if people have read your messages, by going to "sent messages".
If they dont respond, they are simply not interested.
If people are interested you WILL hear back from them.

"Ok I accept a non reply should be taken as a not interested but a 'no thanks' button to click for a reply would at least show someone is reading my messages... "
I have every sympathy, mate, but does it really make a difference if the answer is 'read and not interested' versus 'not read and not interested'?
Fab shows both age and location in the title of the inbox message (which may lead people to delete your message unread, if you're not what they're looking for). Also, many Fabbers read mailer's profiles before they read the message .... and they may conclude from your profile that you're not for them.
Don't worry about whether your messages are read or unread... instead, ensure that your profile reflects who you are, and that you only mail the people who you are a good match for - that's the most likely route to success.
Happy swinging! |

I agree that if it is a no, then no question. But I have been told by people in the past that they often log in and delete all messages, knowing they will get another load within minutes / an hour. Again, if thats what they want to do, then fine but I believe (and I am happy to be proved wrong) that when this happens, the message is often left showing as unread rather than deleted which means you dont know if they want to contact you or not and neither do they. |

Even when you take the time to do a thanks but no thanks reply, some idiot will always come back with " Why? shame etc"
An automated reply would just end up te same.

I believe they were saying the person should use the block button not asking if there was one! |
