Hi everybody
Can anybody suggest why, when I see that someone has looked at my profile, & they then go on to send me a friend invite. I send a polite thank you for the invite & ask if they want to meet.
They then delete my message without any further comment as if to say, "We sent you a friend invite but we dont want to invite you to meet us"
Is it just me that has this, or is it common practice?

could as simple as they want to look at your private pics.....
I don't accept any friends invite unless I know them.. or have spoken to them first...
if i get one without talking to them first... I ask to talk to them a little... if they then don't get back.. it goes in the bin... 
actually.. i wait for them to go offline... accept the invite... have a quick gander and their pics... and then delete them from my friends list!!

Saturday I had my face as my avatar for 24 hours approx as was wanting to meet people in my local club so decided to have my face as my avatar.
Had an excellent night at the club and following turned my avatar back to one of my other pics.
Look on my account this morning (Monday) and I have shed loads of random friend invites and loads of winks,none with mail to go with it! Even though my profile says no to both.
I am very aware that people dont bother to read profiles and send out winks and friend invites even if a profile says no beacuse they look at the pics and think ...o yes please and send out invite.
One lad after seeing my current status (sarcy about friend invites/winks) actually apologised in a mail back to for sending the random invites and then went on to show that he then had read my profile as he spotted he was too young,too short and a smoker.....I mailed him back thanking him for the apology......what a nice surprise that was and what a nice young man.....shame he smoked tho lol |
