Compulsory verification

Is this a new thing? I've friends who say they signed up to fab but in order to complete registration they must photo-verify. Is this a new thing?

Sounds like a good idea though might put people off.

Well if you have to be photo verified it will be harder for a man to set a profile up as a lady or couple.

"It isn't compulsory for most people"

But why is it for some and not others? Surely it should be a rule right across the board.

Near Kettering

The law regarding adults sites is changing soon and site owners will need to prove that that their members are over 18.

I wonder if this is the start of that process?

It's a great idea but how do you moderate it fully whilst keep g discretion? As someone else said all you have to do is be of the same sex. It helps a little to cut out men pretending to be woman or visa versa but that's about it.

I don't know the reason why it is compulsory for some and I doubt if Admin will say as it might give away to people how to get round it. I just know for the majority of people it isn't compulsory and Admin have said they are not going to change that
