As a genuine couple who spent a month trying to arrange a meet and ended up being messed around so much every member should at least photo verify before being allowed to join or go live with their profile would cut out the worst things about the site the timewasters |

There's a regular faker who keeps creating new accounts locally. Each time, the new account is photo verified as genuine yet features pics that are from porn sites. The accounts are then reported and closed.
I don't think there's really any way to make fakes less of a problem from a site perspective. It's more down to how you go about selecting people to engage with. Asking for 'live' pics from them or a video chat can help at least to know what they look like.
That's no guarantee that they'll not then mess you around tho!  |

Just go for people that are well meet verified.that's what we do.just because someone is willing to send a pic to admin dosent mean they are going to be genuine.there's no way you will find me sending face pics with fabswinger on a bit of paper to a cheaply run website that relies on volunteers.fuck that When much bigger sites have been hacked and information released to the internet. |

Surely you should just ask for a telephone number when arranging a meeting and speak to him/her/them on the telephone until you are happy and have made proper arrangements? There are so many fake profiles or people that can't or don't want to actually meet even socially that you can waste time and end up disappointed. I always think genuine people behave openly. Clearly single ladies have to be cautious though. |

No it isn't, even someone like me who isn't a tech whizz could doctor a pic from t'interwebby, in fact I'd go as far as to say that making photo veries compulsory would make things worse, not better. |

This. Only interact or start the meet process with people who are photo-verified. You can even set your message filters to do this! That way you get what you want through your own rules. |
