Be great to have this option.
As a lady pointed out curvy is not a good description for a man and I wouldn't class myself as large or average really.

"If your pics are recent then you're deffo slim! Can't see any extra poundage at all!"
This is the thing. They are all recent, the angle of the camera etc just makes them look far better. My friends pics show it more I believe but my profile is my shop window.
If I had the option for a few extra pounds I think that's a fair statement I wouldn't want to mislead anyone. |

I see what you're saying and with us women, if we want to we can put our dress size but never seen a guy post any measurements other than his cock
I must admit that if I see 'curvy' on a man's profile I imagine fuller, almost womanly hips, and moobs! (Because I'm relating to the stereotypical female curvy)
Looking at your pics I honestly don't feel you'd be misleading anyone saying you're slim, then you can add the 'few extra pounds' comment in your description |

Never measured that either but you're right I should just write it in my profile. So the people that don't read it they can mislead themselves. |

"Statistically speaking average means overweight...
Really? I didn't think it was that bad in Britain. " yup. The average size for a woman is now a 16 and although it's not as straight forward going from a dress size to judge a woman's weight I think I'd be right in saying that puts them in the overweight category. Nearly half of UK women are a size 16 or above! Blokes don't fair much better either!
People are eating more and doing less and it shows |

" that's why I said it's not as straight forward as going off a dress size as a tall woman size 16 will be averaged or healthy weight. A woman approx 5ft4 would more than likely have a bmi over 30 which would make her overweight. It doesn't help that manufacturers change sizes to fool shoppers into thinking they are a smaller size than they actually are. |

Do you live in a hermits cave on a mountain?
According to the NHS 61.7% of British adults are overweight, 24.9% are obese and we are the fattest nation in Europe. So statistically speaking average is well overweight..

You say that not everyone eats excessive to be over weight ...... You are saying that retrospectivly! You must have eaten to excess to have become over weight. Clearly once over weight it is harder to eat at a level where you will lose weight or not put on weight without it seeming much! Like I said credit for losing so much weight and I hope you keep it up but the bottom line is you became overweight by eating to much and not doing enough that's a fact. Yes a blunt fact but a fact none the less. The sooner we accept that the sooner we can deal with the issue . And I say that knowing my daughter is obese! |

Actually no I have a medical condition that can cause weight issues if I don't stay active or am careful what I eat to which I've had to more or less cut out everything I loved to have some of which I don't mind but things like cake and chocolate is hard but I treat myself once a month and still am losing weight but boy do I miss cheese :/ |

I don't mean to be offensive but I'm always synical when people say it's a medical condition why you are obese. Did you always have it or is it an issue that only got diagnosed once you became obese? I apologise if you are the true case but so many people use that excuse these days that it's lost on me. |

It's tough as a 'few' means different things to us all.
Some sites let men list their weight - especially over here in the USA, where it's all pounds.
Ideally we'd have a full adjustment of the men's categories, not just one additional type. Skinny, toned, muscular/bodybuilder could be examples. |

Funnily enough I've had the condition for around 18yrs and before that I was skinny as fuck but it's only just been diagnosed after me having badgered my GP's for years |

In all fairness she didn't really ask for you to sugar coat anything.
I feel none of us have any right to pass judgement on someone's health not knowing who that person is especially.

It's obvious that curvy will mean different for men then women etc but yes they really should have options that are for males then females so I know where your coming from it's like I have curvy on my mini stats but state I'm a bbw in my profile as to some ill be one but others ill be the other if that makes sense |

We are now up to 30% in uk but that's going by bmi. Which is a tad misleading as it makes most rugby players obese |

I agree that clothes are now bigger. There is no way I'm an 8/10 but that's what I buy. Tbh makes me feel good but I'm far bigger than I was in my 20s and I was 8/10 then. |

If bmi is done properly it goes off more than height and weight. From height and weight alone I am overweight, I'm sure most would agree you can see from my picture I work out and aren't overweight. To take your BMI properly your wrist measurement is taken along with skin pinch callipers which gives an indication of fat. |
