Just out of interest, does anyone actually respond to a "wink"?
So many profile say, don't wink we'll ignore you so I can't imagine many people really do. If not, isn't it just a surplus item that's not really needed on the site?

Some people have met people who have winked at them, it was discussed before a little while back. Personally the people who have winked at me generallly tend to be of little interest anyway, the few who do interest me I message and I usually get no response, so I agree to some extent.
I find them more fun with people you know, more like a poke on facebook... |

personally we always look at who has winked us and also wink others to show we are interested...to us its kinda like winking at someone when you are out ....flirting ...but thats just our view kaz x |

mmmmmmm I've winked at two people I never meant to wink at cos the wink button is right next to the message button.
I seldom check winks I forget it's there. |
