I'm photo verified but can't verify a newbie and vice versa, I met an amazing couple last night however we can't verify each other as we have not already got any verifications......so to get a veri you have to meet someone who's already met other people before? Is their no way around this? |

Fake verifications are becoming a massive problem on here. Time was when someone with a verification had a 90% chance of showing up for a meet. Now, I would say it's more like 30%.
I'm now refusing to meet anyone who doesn't have published real life meet verifications from at least two different people (the fakers tend to only bother to blag the one.) I've just seen one guy reappear who I recognise from his face pic as someone who has messed me around in the past. 2 days back on the site, and he has one meet verification? Perhaps someone he actually met on his previous profile, but more likely a fake that he's begged from someone he's never met.
Unfortunately, it has to work as a degrees of separation thing. If people without verifications can verify others without verifications, the whole thing becomes pointless. Everyone with a verification is effectively linked through others to everyone else who has one.
It would be good if they could leave verification style reviews though. Perhaps even ones that would become verifications once they were verified genuine. |

they should do away with letting people verify people who delete there profile and come back again asking people if you remember me from my last profile please leave 1 . i have already reported people who ask for a verification when they come back as someone eles.
It is becoming harder to see who are genuine or not , now you have people on 1 day and 3 verfi's and you can't do anything about it |

I can't verify anyone either, for the same reason. I did go to a club, and asked the barmaid to verify me (I gave her a slip of paper with my Fab name), but she didn't do it. I even tried contacting the club owner about a week later (I didn't have the barmaid's Fab name), but got no reply.
It is too difficult to get verified, in my opinion. I understand the principle of only letting verified members verify others, but there needs to be a "way in" for newbies, and clubs should make more of an effort to provide that initial "social meet" verification.
Maybe the barmaid assumed I was making a pass at her. She was attractive, but that wasn't my intention!

What do you think verifications are for then? Why on earth shouldn't people verify those they've met before? ffs! |

I would have thought that if your going to a club that they at least take your name and verify you as a person. There should be a "club host" verification for example.
To say "I hosted this event and I can confirm that *insert name* is a man and matches his profile picture.
Ultimately from a verification wouldn't that be the most honest, simple, logic that we would be hoping to gain.
Personally I have no time for verifications which go on and on and on about how amazing the sex was. Your tastes and my tastes may differ, your experiences and my experiences may differ. Just because it's the best night you've ever had doesn't mean it's going to be the best night that someone else has ever had. |

I had 2 veris my first day of joining, 1 from my FB who introduced me to the site, and another from someone I got chatting with, then realised we knew each other in real life!
Doesn't make me fake |

Hi OP I can see on your profile that you were verified by a woman two weeks ago. Have you now verified the couple you met up with so that they can veri you in return? |
