Some of us like to see the genital goodies, to help fine tune who to continue chatting with.
I can see why some would like the ban, at least for the main pic - but it would seem a huge job to get thousands of users to amend their profiles to get everything to one standard.
It would push fab towards fbook standards, even though we're an adult sexual content site. Perhaps profiles could have a setting, where when they browse others they opt to see certain types of pics only - this would put the onus onto the people who who want to opt out of full nudity having to make the changes, rather than everyone else. |

I can't help feeling that many females would be shocked and embarrassed by what their partners show without consulting them.
Bottom line though is that you put up images that give a hint of who you are and what you are into.

When you upload photos you do select what is in the picture and there used to be an option for no pictures shown, perhaps a setting which essentially block cock shots from you view would be suitable for your wants then you wouldn't upset the folk that fancy getting a look up close.

The apple store definately doesnt allow apps of an adult nature. So a swingers app wouldnt be allowed whether there was nudity or not. Im not sure about the google stores rules.

It a eems a tad draconian to ban genitalia on what is an adult site.
After conducting some completely unscientific profile research where comments have been left, it seems over half the females & couples supporting a ban or in favour of having a rating system have photos sucking a cock, rubbing a cock, playing with a cock substitute (banana / cucumber) or wearing a strapon in their public photos.
Who knows if this finding has any correlation to the people receiving unwanted cock photos?? That said, this is where a significant number of the male population runs into problems.
Men will look at photos, think 'she loves cock' and send one or more photos of their own tiddler/ chopper / trouser snake before asking would they like to receive them.
I didn't post cock photos when I joined as people moaned in the forums about seeing them.
I changed tack and posted a couple after a few years here. My inbox levels stayed the same with and without public cock shots and it made no difference between the amount or nature of meets. No one has ever complained about my public cock photos.
What's different though is that I wouldn't walk up to a woman or couple in public, grab them by the hair and force them to look at my cock, although I'm sure there is a sub-genre of that type out there, but I digress.

Education not censorship is the key. The OP, as an expat, will realise the education system here and in particular sex and social education is bad.
There is no quick society or educational fix. Until then 'hide your profile' if you don't want unsolicited messages with pictures as admin probably have other things to deal with. I would caveat that with the ability to contact 'hidden' friend profiles would be dead handy.
As people have said, messages with photos are a good reason to delete without opening unless you know the sender.

We used to be on another site that had something like this. I think it's agood idea! (However I did get one pic marked as x-rated because it looked like I was touching myself, but I was actually trying to cover myself up with my hand haha). You also weren't allowed to have genitalia as your profile pic.
Suggestion: Anything X-rated goes behind some kind of filter that you can turn on and off while browsing, or into a 2nd album on your profile.
Might even encourage people to put some other pics on their profiles other than close-ups. Might get to see some nice undies and full body shots!
Could even extend the filtering/albums to be able to quickly see "pics of him" "pics of her" "pics of both" and if it's your thing, "action shots".
