Is there any way to remove the huge fabswingers banner from the top of the page. i really dont want anyone that passes by me being able to read my screen. I have to keep minimising. .. I know the site im on I dont need reminding ! |

Its fair enough you know what site your on but new users wont?
The only thing you can do is scroll down a bit as suggested or use it when you are alone? |

I wish I could disable it too - and also 'blank out' all the avatar pics. Most are fine but there are some that I'd rather not have splashed on my computer screen when I'm just reading forums. |

easy answer to the forum bit is to simply log out and view the forums , this will diable all avatars and even partially obscure usernames so you only get the silhouette avatar for all posts . |

Personally, I don't use the site on a pc or mobile where someone could see the screen.
A, for my privacy and B for the privacy of others on the site who's avatar/profile/pic may be seen by their freinds.

Add an ad-blocker to your browser (Firefox, Safari or Chrome are best), then add the banner URL to the list of blocked addresses. |

Chrome: Settings - Options - Under the bonnet - Content Settings - Images - Manage Exceptions and add the Site Name and choose Block to block all images from that site. Otherwise, install Adblock and block the individual images. |
